Caption: Eric, The new traveling museum with The Wall That Heals (1/2 size replica of The Wall) was just dedicated in DC a couple of days ago. Years ago my friends, John & Linda, who were the site managers for The Wall That Heals and it's museum asked if I still had a P-38 (John Wayne) and I said yes and it was still attached to my dog tags. They said they'd try to have the National Park service include it in the museum. They did and it travelled around the USA for years. John & Linda had to retired a few years ago (went on RFTW with us in 2007 - his last ride as his eye sight was failing) and turned The Wall That Heals over to new site managers. The Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund decided to redo the museum to update it. John & Linda were invited to DC from Las Cruces for the dedication. They remembered to look for my dog tag. It was one of the only items that was kept from the old museum. They took this photo and sent it to me yesterday. I'm really proud to represent all Vietnam Veterans and had to pass it on to you.
