NEW WEBSITE - NEW NEWSLETTER - NEW REUNION
After a long period of time we have decided to change the "look and feel" of our 9th Engineer Battalion Website. We have done this in order to make it easier on our less computer literate members and to allow better access to the search engines to better expose the site to the world. With the old site we have been getting approximately six thousand people a month looking around at our mission statements, our photos and our accomplishments. We have made it easier for our members to identify people in the pictures we have posted and make comments about them. We hope that the new format designed by Michael, my son, will expose our Association to more people and as a result, find more of our "lost" brothers and bring them back into the fold for a proper "Welcome Home". Michael has spent many long hours late at night after he finished his "day job" to work on this project for us and I wanted him to know how much I personally appreciate his hard work. These sites just don't just happen. Many of our members, working in the background have contributed greatly to the growth of the site. We currently have over two thousand pictures and are growing every week. Our membership has grown due to the site and Michael's hard work and those of our membership have paid off ten fold. We may not have all the "flash" applications and super graphics that we had before, but those caused some problems of their own, not allowing our full membership to have complete access to the site. Now, everyone should be able to view our site, even those with "web tv". Again, Michael, thanks for the hard work and I know that the membership will enjoy the site in it's now "look and feel".
