Medals
These are some of the Medals the Association has been presented.
- The small round medal was presented to us at Eight & I at the 2002 Reunion by the Sgt. Major of 8th & I. Gen. Klimp talked to us for about 15 minutes and told us the current Marines think we are "heros" and that they look up to us.
- The dog tag Medal was give to us by Lt. Col. Hearnsberger It is intended to be presented to Special Guests of the Battalion.
- The large Medal is the current medal or patch of the Battalion that is located in Okinawa. Their logo if you will......historically it follows our original logo when we were formed in 1965 at Camp Pendleton, Ca.
